Subtitle Timestamp Correction
We correct timestamp problems in existing files: uniform offsets, frame-rate-related drift, malformed timecodes, end-before-start errors and cues out of chronological order.
Suitable for
- Teams whose captions are consistently early or late
- Files exported with broken timecode formatting
Source materials required
- The subtitle file
- A description of the problem, or the video for verification
Deliverables
- A corrected .srt file
- A list of changes made
Included
- Offset shifting
- Timecode syntax repair
- Re-ordering and renumbering
- Overlap resolution under agreed rules
Not included
- Full re-synchronization of every cue (quoted as synchronization)
- Transcription
Technical limitations
Non-uniform drift requires the source media to correct accurately.
Revision policy
One consolidated correction round is included for deviations from the agreed specification, reported within the review window stated in your quotation. Changes to the original scope (new text, new timing references, new style rules) are quoted separately before any work is done.
Turnaround
Turnaround is estimated per project from total duration, file count, source-material quality and current workload, and is confirmed in writing in your quotation before work begins. Rush delivery can be requested and is confirmed only if capacity allows.
