Technical limitations
Supported conversions
SubRip (.srt) → WebVTT (.vtt)
- Input requirements:
- A structurally valid SRT file (UTF-8). Files with structural errors are reported, not converted.
- Options:
- LF or CRLF line endings; file naming per your convention.
- Known limitations:
- SRT has no positioning information, so none is added. Inline tags (e.g. <i>) are passed through.
Input
1 00:00:01,000 --> 00:00:03,500 Welcome to SNUBBIX. 2 00:00:03,700 --> 00:00:06,000 Precision starts with the details.
Example output
WEBVTT 00:00:01.000 --> 00:00:03.500 Welcome to SNUBBIX. 00:00:03.700 --> 00:00:06.000 Precision starts with the details.
WebVTT (.vtt) → SubRip (.srt)
- Input requirements:
- A WebVTT file beginning with the WEBVTT header. Short-form timestamps (MM:SS.mmm) are accepted.
- Options:
- Cue identifiers are replaced by sequential numbers.
- Known limitations:
- Cue settings (align, position, line), NOTE, STYLE and REGION blocks have no SRT equivalent and are dropped — we list what was dropped.
Input
WEBVTT intro 00:01.000 --> 00:03.500 align:start Welcome to SNUBBIX.
Example output
1 00:00:01,000 --> 00:00:03,500 Welcome to SNUBBIX.
Revision policy
One consolidated correction round is included for deviations from the agreed specification, reported within the review window stated in your quotation. Changes to the original scope (new text, new timing references, new style rules) are quoted separately before any work is done.
Turnaround
Turnaround is estimated per project from total duration, file count, source-material quality and current workload, and is confirmed in writing in your quotation before work begins. Rush delivery can be requested and is confirmed only if capacity allows.
